My TESTIMONY, November 12, 2011

Image
My dear Lord finally heard my prayers (the one thing remaining), as I tied the knot with the love of my life on the 12th of November 2011, it was not easy in my condition to meet the man of my dreams, after being in and out of relationships, it took a man of faith, my dear husband, to see past the physical and decide that he wants to share the rest of his life with me. I give God all the glory, what i have learnt from all these is that patience pays, there is no hurry in life, wait on the Lord, let His will be done, His time is always the best. Let God take control in your life. Have faith! The God who did it for me will also do for you, in Jesus name, Amen.

My 3rd Bone Surgery, September 25, 2006

I was set for my 3rd surgery by September 2006, I already applied for my annual leave. But I knew it was going to take more than a month this time, i was ready to risk loosing my job so as to get better. My leave started on the 18th of September 2006, I immediately got admitted at the National orthopeadic Hospital, Igbobi the following day. The surgery was fixed for the 25th of September, 2006, I was lucky there was no hitch and the surgery was carried out on that day. I was corresponding with my office for the five months i was at home giving them my medical reports. Thank God they were patient with me, I got better by end of February 2007 and resumed work in March 2007. I still had the plastic POP on then, but i felt like running, my leg was healing fast this time. The POP was fixed in October 2006 and was removed in September 2007 almost a year later. I was very happy on that day, because my Xray results showed great improvement. As if God was preparing me for something good I was i

I was under the medication of Traditional Bone Setters till March 2003, I got better and started moving with a walking stick. Things were looking bright, the following month, i was preparing to resume work when i recieved invitations for job interview from 2 companies, that was how i got a job with an Internet Service Provider in July 2003. I had to resign from my old place of work since the new one provided more opportunities for me and i would'nt be moving around much. For three months my leg showed some improvement, not until November 2003 when i noticed swelling and pores from a small wound. My Boss adviced me to register with the National Orthorpeadic Hospital Igbobi, Lagos. I was told at the Hospital that there was an infection on my bone and a non-union. I was placed on antibiotics for 6 months, after which i went through another surgery in May 2004 to correct the non-union of my bones. This time, the infected area was scrapped off, and the bones were joined with an internal

My 1st Bone Surgery, July 7, 2002

I had my first bone surgery at the Lagos State Accident (General) Hospital, where i was transferred to. The broken bones were brought together and an external fixation was used to hold my bones together, it was really scary at first when i saw it. Iron metals with screws passed through my flesh to hold my bones together. That General hospital was another world i was not used to, there i met different characters of people, the good, the bad, the ugly, patients, Doctors and Nurses alike. Anyway God saw me though the 6 weeks, after which the external fixations where removed and i was discharged with a POP (Plaster Of Paris) on my leg. I quickly learnt how to use the crutches so i can move about on my own. My next appointment with my doctor was 6 weeks later. It was not easy carrying the POP with all the heat and itching for 6 weeks. So on the day i was to meet with my doctor, i was happy and excited that the POP will be removed but i was dissapointed when i was asked to carry it for anoth

The Day I Met my Guardian Angel

Uptill today i am still in search of the tall dark man, wearing a sky blue brocade, because God used him to save my life on that fateful day, (who says Angels dont exist!). He organised some able men to carry me to his vehicle, before then they got my ankara headtie (that day was friday so i was dressed in native), the headtie was used to tie the spot where blood was oozing out from my left leg, the lady who hit me was asked to get into the car with us, she was shvering and crying, i dont know where i got the courage from, i started consoling her, though i was very weak and had no more saliva to talk, i remember telling them to take me to a nearby hospital for first aid, because i know serious loss of blood could lead to death and i didn't want to die, i held on to life, suddenly i had hope that all was going to be alright. I was taken to the lady's family clinic, Topaz Clinic. After a few minutes of questioning in the hospital, i think everything went blank. i was quickly plac

About fainting from loss of blood, God sent me an Angel! ........ to be continued
